Les Tells Italian leather handbags are made in small quantities near Florence, with only a few colors offered at a time.
Depending on the silhouette, each bag passes through dozens of individual steps. Edges are finished by hand, hardware is fitted piece by piece, and stitching is reinforced where the structure needs it. The work takes time because each bag is built to be carried for years, not seasons.
This allows every bag to be checked before it leaves the atelier, rather than moving through production as quickly as possible.
Waitlist members receive the release date, materials overview, and pre-order window before the page goes public.
Each release opens for pre-order over a set period. Because runs are small, the pre-order window is the best time to secure the model you want. Shipping timing is confirmed when pre-orders open.
Any remaining pieces from the collection are made available in-stock and ship immediately until they sell through.

Pre-orders open for a defined window after the release date is announced. Because runs are small, pre-order is the best time to secure the model you want. Once a piece sells out, restocks aren't guaranteed. Shipping timing is confirmed when pre-orders open.
Once a piece sells out, it will not be restocked in the same release. Some models and colors return in future releases; others may be discontinued. Waitlist members get early access to each new release before it opens to the public.
Every Les Tells bag is made entirely in Italy, near Florence, in a third-generation family atelier in Scandicci. The Small runs mean each bag is worked on by the same hands from construction to finish.
Each design is developed by the founder, refined through a year of wear-testing, then made in small quantities by a third-generation family atelier near Florence. The hardware is designed like jewelry specifically for the collection rather than selected from a catalogue, and every material is sourced in Italy. The result is a bag designed with intention, made carefully enough that no piece is rushed.
Every silhouette is shaped to sit close to the body rather than pull away from it. Balanced strap placement, reinforced stress points, and curved construction help distribute weight more naturally throughout the day.
